Hot Buffalo Popcorn: Spicy, salty and savory

Hot Buffalo Popcorn has a great combination of spicy, salty flavors.

Recipe: Hot Buffalo Popcorn

Summary: Take this popcorn snack to your next party to liven things up. The combination of spicy salty treats taste great buffaloed. Our kids enjoy this popcorn as a special treat. Because this is pretty rich in flavor, we recommend using a hot air popcorn popper to start with low calorie popcorn.


  • 3 quarts popped popcorn
  • 2 cups broken corn chips
  • 1 cup dry roasted nuts
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 Tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp celery salt


  1. Pour 2 cups popcorn in small bowl and set aside
  2. Combine remaining popcorn with corn chips and nuts
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter with hot sauce, celery salt, and seasoned salt
  4. Pour over popcorn chip mixture, toss to coat
  5. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes
  6. Remove and place in large bowl
  7. Add remaining 2 cups popcorn. Toss and enjoy
